Enjoy the beauty and tranquility of Treasure Cay, Abaco Island, Bahamas

Treasure Cay and the Abacos

Treasure Cay is for the traveler who finds luxury in a long walk on the beach, a great fishing spot, and a community that feels like family.

Centered around a world-famous three-mile white sand beach, Treasure Cay is consistently ranked among the most beautiful beaches in the world.

The Abacos are the boating and fishing capital of the Bahamas. Rent a boat to explore the nearby cays, cast a line for bonefish, or snorkel in crystal-clear reefs.

The Villa

Beachbound is a two bedroom, two bathroom villa located in the center the Beach Villas, a community of 120 privately owned homes.  Beachbound is perfect for one or two couples or one couple and one or two children, who don't mind sharing a queen bed.

The Observation Deck is located just beyond the pool and  overlooks the beach.  You'll often find home owners and renters gathering on the Observation Deck around 5:30 pm for an informal social hour.

Villa 658 - A Short History

Every year when I was growing up, my parents would take a warm weather vacation in the islands after the busy summer season in Maine, where we lived.  They loved to travel, so every year they went somewhere new.  They visited the Abacos a couple of times and soon realized their heart belonged to Treasure Cay, and in 1991 they bought Villa 658.

At first they spent a few weeks a year in Treasure Cay.  They were resourceful and frugal Mainers who liked to keep busy, so there was a DIY project with every visit.   Int the '90's my father used to talk about getting supplies at the Pink Hardware store, a development that eventually became the Bahama Beach Club, now a beautiful resort...I'm sure Craig Roberts, the owner who knew my parents, would appreciate the story.
